Angel of Mine
The Scrappies picked a table near the stage. Easier shot at the dance floor as Olivia would say it. P3 was packed tonight, which made Via happy. She had a better chance of being with her man without his parentals bumping in. The Scoobies respected the Charmed Ones, but when they tried to vanquish a couple of the Mini-Slays when they thought the girls were attacking their innocent, when they were in fact saving the innocent, the Scrappies were warned to stay away from that family for years since then.
"Hey, V," Jesse prodded his cousin.
Via turned to Jesse, sighing.
"Looking for your boy?" He asked, understanding how she felt, since his girl was her guy's little sister.
Via nodded.
"Don't worry, V, he'll be here," He put an arm around her.
Via leaned her near platinum head on Jesse's shoulder.
"It's just..." She sighed heavily, "it's been weeks since I've even spoke to him and..."
"He's here," Via's sister Drusilla Dawn, or DD, tapped her shoulder.
Via sat up and looked to where DD was pointing. Via smiled when Wyatt's eyes connected with hers. He approached the table, sure that his parents weren't even in the club, and sat next to her.
"Missed you," She whispered in his ear when she took her spot in his lap.
Wyatt rubbed Via's back with one hand and played with her hair with the other hand.
"Missed you too," Wyatt said against her neck.
Via sighed happily, a deep purr rumbling in her chest.
-----
Piper sighed when she saw Wyatt with the Scrappies. The Slayer's daughter in his lap. She didn't have anything against them, they had tried to make up for what happened for years, but the Scoobies were still bitter. She could see how much Wyatt loved the girl in his lap, just by watching them together.
"Reminds me of you and Leo," Phoebe chuckled, "but a little more..." She paused for a moment, "physical."
She cocked her head, watching the two of them.
"They do look good together," said a voice.
Piper turned to see Buffy standing there.
"Buffy..."
Buffy held up her hand.
"It's alright, Piper," She sighed, "I..." She shook her head, "I am sorry about.."
It was Piper's turn to hold up her hand.
"It's alright, Buffy," She sighed, "we didn't mean to hurt the girls."
-----
Via felt someone close to her, family wise, in the club, but shook it off when Wyatt hugged her close.
"What's the matter?" He asked.
"It's nothing, luv," She said in her soft British accent, "nothing at all."
-----
"They are sweet together," Phoebe sighed happily, feeling the love rolling off the two of them.
The three women looked at the two.
"They are," Buffy chuckled, "kinda reminds me of me and Spike with the physicalness."
A pale arm wrapped around Buffy's waist.
"They do, don't they?" Spike leaned his head against Buffy's.
-----
Via groaned.
"What is it, Via?" Wyatt asked.
"Our parentals..." She sighed sadly.
Wyatt's head lulled just a little.
"I don't want to go..." She whispered into Wyatt's neck.
-----
Spike looked sadly at the two, then to Phoebe. Spike could hear them and Phoebe could feel them, both knowing that the two didn't want to part after so long apart.
"Can feel them, can you, Pet?" Spike asked the Empath.
Phoebe nodded, "So sad..."
Spike sighed.
"Let's just leave them," He told Buffy, "poor things are worse than you and Captain Hairgel."
Buffy rolled her eyes. Spike still picked on Angel after all these years.
-----
Via clutched Wyatt with calculated strength, not wanting to let him go. Wyatt held her tight, knowing that it would take much more to hurt Via but still not wanting to hurt her, not wanting to let her go either. It was almost like they could feel something coming, like their parents were about to tear them apart, never to see each other again.
-----
Spike, Buffy, Phoebe, Piper, now Leo, Paige, Henry, Dawn and Xander watched the two of them, realizing what the feud had done to the kids, even when it happen before a lot of the Scrappies were born. Spike and Phoebe could feel the fear and sadness and overwhelming love coming from Via and Wyatt.
-----
Jesse and the others walked up to the bar where both groups' parental units were watching the exchange with Wyatt and Via. Jesse crossed his arms over his chest and cocked his hips in a pose that would be called purely Via. On his face was a cold look worthy of Darla, Dru, Angelus, or even Spike, a look worthy of a very pissed off First Slayer.
"Calm down, Droopy Jr," Spike shook his head at Jesse, "we'll leave the poor kids."
Jesse kept looking at them, not believing a word he said. Janna put a hand on Jesse's arm.
"He's telling the truth," She whispered to him.
Jesse looked at his little cousin.
"Why should I believe it, Jan," He sighed, turning to the teen, "those two have been through enough. They haven't been together in months. Last time they even spoke was 8 1/2 weeks ago."
Janna leaned on Jesse, making him put an arm around her, effectively distracting her elder cousin.
"Jess..."
"Jan..."
Janna gave Jesse her own version of their Aunt Willow's Resolve Face. Jesse threw up his arms and slumped into a chair when Janna stepped away. Chris, who was behind the bar, passed Jesse a drink. Tara smiled at her guy and slipped behind the bar, wrapping an arm around his waist.
