Inner Smile

The first chapter out of many so don't complain! I did my best.

"Alright, alright you guys, um... ok," started Alice as she waited for the gang to calm down, "... favorite position, huh?"

"Oh God, Alice," whinned Helena.

Shane and Carmen chuckled along with an amused Dana and Lara. Through their laughter, Bette shook her head. "What kind of question is that?"

"What? The kind you ask when-"

"You just don't care," inturrupted Shane, "in which, Alice doesn't."

"Right. Ok um... I don't know, I just like any possition where I get licked, ya know?."

Tina patted Bette on the shoulder lightly to show she was on her side, while holding back a smile herself. Carmen leaned back in her chair and said, "I kinda like the 69. It's funky."

Shane looked taken back. "Why haven't you told me that?"

"I thought I did."

"No, now I have no future material for suprises, thanks."

"Oh I'm sorry, Shane."

Jenny caughed. "You could always save the material for someone else."

"Oh yeah, funny," stated Shane with a slight nod, "funny, funny Jenny. You know what else is funny? Taking that banana and shoving up your ass."

"Watch it, Alice might like that to much," chuckled Dana.

"Oh yes, cause it's always been my dream to see Jenny tourtured by a banana," laughed Alice back at Dana.

"It's not like it isn't a good tool," Max said from behind Jenny. "They do work, but fail eventually."

Carmen nearly spit her coffee out in laughter. "Yes Max, cause we all know you've had experiance."

The sarcasm rolling back and forth was enough to push over a steel wall. If it wasn't Alice's random questions and remarks, it was Shane ratting on everyone to Bette's disapproval and Tina's want of disapproval hidden behind her uncontrolable laughter. If anything, Max felt so much more comfortable around them knowing he can comment things without being looked at funny.

Once the gang settled down, laughter slowly fading from them, Helena whipped her forehead and looked over towards the front of the cafe. She noticed an intruiging group of woman walk in. The youngest was being pushed inside by three other girls who all looked around the same age. Helena was transfixed by them cause each one had their own style and what seemed like their own attitude; out of all of them, the youngest girl seemed to be the one who stood out the most. Helena sighed and then rejoined her attention back on the gang, but her gaze didn't go unnoticed.

"Who where you looking at, Helena?" asked Jenny before sipping some coffee.

Helena shook her head and sat upright. "A group of girls who just came in. They caught my eye because they're intresting to look at."

Immediately, everyone turned around to look. Alice nodded and turned back to them, "Ah, new blood... Do it Dana, I know you want too."

Dana smiled, "Cris-pay!"

"That's my girl. Looks like I can add four more people to Shane's chart, huh?"

"Whoa, wait a second Alice," said Shane, "I don't think they're gay, or at least not all of them."

"Like who?"

"Well, for one, the youngest looking one who looks like she jumped out from a cartoon on TV."

Alice shrugged, "You could still do her. I would."

Carmen smiled. "Then take her Alice, I'm sure she'd love that. 'Hi, I'm Alice. Welcome to the Planet, wanna go back to my place?' Brilliant."

"I know; challange Shane." Everyone stared at Max after he said this. "I mean, challange Shane to either sleep with the older three or remain in relationship with the youngest one for more than a month."

Jenny smiled at him. "This is why I'll love you no matter what kind of genitals you have."

"Pure brilliance, Max," agreed Carmen. "Shane can do it."

"Wait a sec, I haven't agreed," spat out Shane who kept looking back at them. "I don't know."

"You aren't afraid are you?" asked Bette.

Shane looked at all their faces and that was the clear decision they were all coming at. Shane leaned back and rolled her eyes, before getting up and heading over there. Alice jumped in delight and everyone got as close as they could without leaving theri seats. Taking her time, Shane stopped about ten feet away to adjust her shirt. After a moment, she headed up to the counter.

Shane shimmied her way in between some brunette and one of the girls. Trying to look as innocent as possible, Shane ordered another coffee from Kit. While waiting, Shane got a good look at the girl; tall, dirty blonde hair, brown eyes, and seemed to flaunt her figure well. With a slight smile, Shane decided to make her approach.

Turning to the side so she could lean, Shane cleared her throat and said, "Uh Hi. How are you?"

The girl looked at Shane up and down, then she tisked and said, "I'm not gay, if that's what your wondering."

"Uh... ok," said Shane unexpectedly, "I wasn't, but I'm glad you cleared up any future confusion."

"Mhmm," said the girl before turning to the others. "Get the brat and let's leave."

The two older girls looked at her before one said, "Why Tonya?

"Let's just go, please! Come on." Tonya headed to the door while the others stood there for a minute trying to figure out why. It wasn't until Shane rounded them and came closer to Tonya. "What?!"

Shane smirked. "Tonya, that's a nice name. You new around here?"

"Boy you lesbians never stop do you? Back off, hot pants," said Tonya. "October, Ally, Juliet, follow please?"

Feeling disappointed and slightly angry, Shane watched Tonya leave followed by the other three. Before she walked away, Shane gave one last look at them, hoping that one of the three would turn back, but the youngest looked back instead and gave a half smile. Once they left, Shane headed back to the table and dreaded the remarks about to be made by her friends. And like she expected, the sarcasm didn't end for another hour.

After Shane and Carmen left The Planet, they headed down to Wax. Carmen made a quick side trip and told Shane she'd meet her at Wax. Once Shane got there, there were three people waiting inside already. She ran over to her station and began quickly so she wouldn't get bitched at by Chase.

After another good hour, Shane was down to her last customer when Carmen came back and started testing out some mix songs. Clipping of an inch long piece of hair, Shane looked up only to see Tonya and the youngest girl come in. This made Shane smile a little knowing what a torment it would be for that girl. Shane finished up just as Tonya came up to the counter and was about to sign the book. Placing the sizzors and comb down, Shane came up with a cocky smile planted on her face. Tonya looked up at her and her expression dropped.

"Are you following me?" asked Tonya. The younger one turned to look at Shane and decided to stay quiet.

Shane giggled. "I work here, sweetheart. Would you like me to do you hair?"

"You touch my hair and I'll file a lawsuit! And as a matter of fact, no, I'm here too..." It took Tonya a moment to think of an excuse why she wasn't getting her hair cut. She looked at the younger one and smirked, "... too buy my little sister a new skateboard. That one looks cool, huh Juliet, I'll get that one." And Tonya walked away.

Shane giggled a bit and scratched the back of her neck. She looked at Juliet and asked, "She always like this?"

Juliet nodded, "Worse actually. Drives me up the fucking wall, I can't wait until Satan possesses me so I can kill her!"

"Ohh, vicious!"

"She deserves it!"

Shane laughed and leaned against the counter. "So what's here deal with lesbians, Juliet?"

"Please call me Jules, I hate 'Juliet' with a deep passion!" sighed Jules, then she shrugged. "Ever since our mom came out, she's been on dad's side the entire time and has decided that all lesbians should burn."

"So Tonya is the demon queen of hellfire?"

"Pretty much yeah. Oh god, she's coming back."

Jules turned around and sighed as Tonya came back. Shane stood back up and gave her cocky smirk back at her.

"I am leaving and I will not return. Juliet, here. You owe me!"

Then Tonya walked out. Jules rolled her eyes and turned to Shane, "Just be glad you don't have to live with her. See ya..."

"Shane. See ya Jules." Shane said. Then she watched Jules and Tonya head out of Wax. The rest of the day, Shane kept laugh to herself about that snobby Tonya.
