Rock Me

Summary: Sam and Dean face an old enemy and become closer than they thought possible.

Warning: Rape, Angst, Slash, Past child abuse, H/C, Non-con, Torture

Rating: NC-17

Disclaimer: I own nothing and make no money off of this.

Type: This is definitely going to be more than a one shot. I like to write my fics with just a slight idea and then work them out as I go. This can also lead to long waits between chaps so I hope that you all hate my work and won't be upset when it takes me awhile to update. :-)

Warning: I haven't decided if this is going to be Wincest yet or not. I love reading the stuff, but I can never get it right when I write it so I may do a Sam/Dean pairing at some point if I can make it realistic that they're not brothers. Yeah, hate me now, but give it a chance. You might just like it.

Status: Not complete!

Spoilers: Everything through the homecoming ep

No flames please. Nobody is forcing you to read it. :-)

Dean looked over at his brother and frowned. Another nightmare... He walked over and shook Sam gently by the shoulder. "Sammy...come on...wake up."

Sam sat up suddenly and slammed face first into his brother. "Dammit!"

Dean couldn't even speak. The blow had caught him off guard and he just sat down hard on the bed. He let out a whoosh of air and pressed his hand to the warmth under his nose. He found his voice then. "If you broke my nose I'll kill you."

"What were you doing getting so close to me like that? You scared me to death!"

"Nah. We've seen that happen and I'm not capable of it. Look, you were having another nightmare. What was it this time?"

Sam shook his head. "Nothing. Don't worry about it."

The cell phone shrilled and Dean used his sleeve to wipe up the remaining blood, confident that the fading pain meant that the nose was safe and so was Sam. He picked it up, curious who was calling them now. "Hello?" He frowned. "Hello?"

He looked at the phone and shrugged. "Hang up."

"Again? That's the fifth one you've gotten today, Dean."

"It's probably just someone who wants help, but is too freaked out to ask. I'm going to jump in the shower and then we'll head out."

"Yeah, okay. I'm going to get some breakfast for us." He watched his brother disappear and smiled slightly. Sam was grateful to have his brother back in his life and sometimes it was easy to forget why he started on this journey in the first place. Jessica had been everything to him, but he was so comforted by the familiarity of his brother. He wanted to find his father, but he had a feeling that he would be disappointed in the reunion. He had left. Dean had stayed and became the favored son.

That's not true and you damn well know it. Sam tried to convince himself to ignore his inner voice, but after finding out that his dad had been keeping tabs on him it was hard to hold onto the bitterness and jealousy.

He heard the water start in the bathroom and turned to leave when the cell phone rang again. He frowned and picked it up. "Look, just talk to us. It's okay. We can help."

There was a long pause and then a voice from long ago spoke. "You sound like your brother now..."

"Dad?"

"Sam, is Dean there?"

"He's in the shower. I'll get him and-"

"No! No, listen. I've been calling, but he always picks up and I need to speak with you, not him."

"Why?"

"Remind him of the date. Remind him of December first and what that means."

"But...what does it mean?"

"He'll know, but he always forgets. Where are you now?"

"A small town outside of Denver."

"You have to make it to Nebraska soon. He'll know that, but just don't question him. I'm going to tell you something very important and if you value your life and your sanity then-"

"I can take care of myself."

"I know that. Okay...if you value Dean's sanity and his life then you'll do everything I say."

Sam closed his eyes. He could be stubborn when he wanted to be, but not when it meant keeping Dean safe. He would do anything for his brother. "Alright."

"I know that you two are close and I fear that this will bring you closer than I want, but maybe it's time."

"You're not making any sense."

"Dean will know what he has to do. One week after Thanksgiving every year. Sometimes he remembers. Sometimes he doesn't. This year it falls on the first of December."

"Okay, fine. I get that. What else?"

"Sam, you have to do exactly what he says, no matter how badly you want to do something different. You may think it's insane or murder, but just do it. If he tells you to slit his throat, do it."

"No! What the hell are you talking about?"

"You might not trust me anymore, but I know you trust him. He'll leave you for that day. Don't follow him. Just wait. He'll call me when he gets back. If he doesn't come back or if something goes wrong I want you to leave as quickly as you can. I'll call you on his phone at some point and give you further instructions and we'll find him together."

"Alright...alright I understand."

"Sam, there's something else."

"What else could there be? You're telling me that I have to do everything Dean says even if it kills him. It can't get any worse."

"Leave him alone about this. Tell him and then just ignore everything unless he talks to you about it. He won't, but just don't pry, okay?"

"Yeah, fine. Dad...there was this girl and I need to know-"

"I'm still looking for it, son. Dean's the only one who's seen it and he's not talking about it with me. The only time he sees it is when we can't kill it so that's why we're still searching."

Sam's mind was reeling from the revelation that Dean had faced this thing head on, but tempered his outrage at being left out of the loop once again. "Yeah, I get it. Okay, I'll do what you said."

"Thanks. Take care of him."

Sam tries to contain his shock as he hangs up the phone. Me take care of Dean? When did that happen? He put the phone back and walked over to the bathroom door. He was about to talk when he heard what he thought was a sob. He quietly opened the door and peeked in. There was a lot of steam and he could make out the form of his brother leaning against the wall of the shower. Sam froze when he heard Dean whisper one word.

"Mommy..."

Sam slipped out just as quietly as he had entered and took off to get some food. He was trying to work through the conversation with his father and the emotional breakdown he had just witnessed and tried to pull it all together. It wasn't until he was heading back with food that it hit him.

Dean knew her. I didn't. And when she destroyed herself she did it for me. Both of us, but I was the one in the most danger. Oh God....Dean lost her twice. I never knew her to even feel overwhelming grief the second time...just curiosity.

He vowed to help his brother get through whatever was coming their way as he walked into the room. He stopped and stared.

Dean had just dropped his towel to get into his boxers and jumped when Sam entered. "Shit, Sammy. You scared me."

Sam had never seen his brother naked before. He thought that was odd since they were brothers, but now he was faced with a dilemma. Seeing his brother had turned him on. That can't be normal...

He put the stuff down and turned so Dean could finish dressing. When he turned around, Dean was pulling a shirt on. "Did you get anything good to eat?"

"Yeah..." He debated telling Dean about his dad's conversation, but refrained.

"Hey...maybe we can do something special."

Dean smirked. "Uh...okay...what's the occasion?"

"Thanksgiving. It's in two days." Sam immediately noticed the change in his brother. Dean froze up and paled so much that Sam thought he would pass out. "Dean?"

He just held his hand up and looked around. "Calendar..."

"Yeah, there's a desk one over here." He reached for the small pad near the phone, but Dean got to it first and flipped through it.

"The first..."

"The first of what?"

"We have to go to Nebraska." He started packing his things.

"Alright...but why don't we eat first?" He watched his brother ignore him and finally grabbed his arm. "Hey..."

Dean jerked away quickly and stared at Sam with something that looked like fear. Then his paleness took on a distinct green hue and he ran to the bathroom, slamming the door.

Sam listened to the sound of vomitting and walked over to lean against the door. "Dean?"

"It's okay...just ate something bad last night. Load up the car, Sammy. Please."

The pleading in his voice made Sam want to do whatever Dean said in the hopes that it would ease his suffering. He started packing things up and then walked back in to hear choked sobs again coming from the bathroom. This time he just walked out and sat in the car with their breakfast, but he didn't have much of an appetite now.

Dean came out a moment later and his eyes were puffy. "We ready?"

"Yeah, we're ready." Sam shuddered slightly. His brother was acting as relaxed and carefree as always only this time Sam knew the pain that was underneath.
