Notes:
Because I haven't seen the episode "Thirst" (they're still only airing season 3 in Australia.) The vampires in my story are probably vastly different. The vampires in this story are a mix of Anne Rice's vampirology and real life vampirism and thus there are different rules. While they are explained at one point I thought it easier to set them out now.
THE RULES
1. Vampires are immortal, except for if they're decapitated after all, can't live without a head. Stakes will injure but not kill because vampires can regenerate.
2. Because vampires are older than Christianity they aren't allergic to crosses or holy water but are allergic to sunlight, however; they won't turn to ash or burst into flames it merely makes them vulnerable.
3. Vampires are not made or turned or crossed over. They are only born... Did writers of vampire novels never consider the fact that it would cause overpopulation and when everyone is a vampire, what is there to feed on.
4. Vampires have souls. Their morality is a little different but they still have souls, so that means no weird face changing like on Buffy *cringe*, they have reflections.
And now, not really a rule but to discern between vampires and just your garden variety goths, vampires have this kind of "heroin chic" look like in Queen of the Damned and not quite fetish, not quite industrial and not quite Victorian/lolita
Other than the obvious Vampire Chronicles references, there are references to different vampire books/movies.
Aside from all the vampiric activity in the story, because I had already planned to before seeing the episode "Whisper" Clark will wear glasses more often. Why? Because it's my imagination and I can do what I arsing well please.
