Lack of Passion

Lack of Passion
Rating : R
Spoilers: all seasons
Disclaimer: I owe nothing but a broken heart and some spike bracelets from Hot Topic.
Summary: Grissom realizes his lack of Passion(meaning Sacrifice) in his own life.
Category:Case file plus GSR.and has some spiritual aspects in it too!
Archive: Sure why not, just give credit where credit is due.
Authors note: I thought of this after I watched Passion of the Christ with my friend Shaun. and plus Grissom needs to learn somehow, that he is being a dick.
*****ON another note: I am in no way trying to offend anyone by writing this story. My Character Katie is crucified in this story. It is in no way to be taken seriously. I do not mean to make her seem higher then Christ. I am a Christian and I love God very much. Jesus Christ is a personal friend of mine and I dont intend to belittle him in any way.******
Prologue
She walked out of the building and felt the rush of cool air on her ears. she put her headphones on and began walking down the street. She was listening to her favorite band tell her about crying stars and black tears. She turned her head so she could see across the street and watch for on coming cars.
"No one else is up at 2:55 am like you." She laughed at herself.
She never saw him though. The figure standing in the shadows watching, waiting. Walking along bobbing her head to the music she never noticed him speed up to catch her, to take her. Huge hands grabbed her from behind and struggled with her for a moment.
"Lord please help me!" She cried out to someone hoping any one would hear and rescue her.
The ringing sensation in his ears made him think that his hearing was acting up again but as the noise persisted he could tell that it was in fact his cell phone. Why he had brought the blasted thing on vacation was far beyond him. Thinking it was Catherine again he didnt bother sounding awake.
"Grissom."
"Dr Grissom. Good morning. I apologize for the early call, but I need your help. My Name is Mathews and we have a case here that is major and all my poeple are sick I need you badly. Please say that you will help me."
How could he refuse an offer like that? He was too tired and too irritable to even think no.
"Just tell me where to go and I'll bethere in 20."
"Thanks so much." Grissom got dressed and grabbed his phone. He could tell by the desperation in the woman's voice that this was big. He decided even before he left out the door what he had to do. He hit the number 1 on his speed dial, the number he knew all too well.
"Sidle." She answered souding out of breath.
"Sara, I need you." He answered back knowing that would get her attention.
"So you're going on Vacation with him?" Catherine asked suspecting there was something Sara wasn't saying.
"Not exactly. He got called in on a case." Greg walked in for more coffee.
"Where is that?" Cath asked.
"Where is what?" he stood hoping they wouldnt yell at him for jumping in but he had to ask.
"Hampton." Sara repeated.
"Oh thats in Virginia. I had a college buddy from there."
"So why is he calling you up there?" Greg perked up at the mention of a male calling Sara.
"He barely said anything on the phone. Something about him needing me and and being stubborn." by now Greg was confused.
"Sounds to me like he has decided to finally stop being an ass and get off his ass and do something."
"I dont know. He was acting really weird. Said he wanted Sanders to come along too." Greg spit out his coffe all over the table.
"What? Who?!"
"Grissom." Sara said like he should have known already.
"Me? He wants me there?"
"Said it would be part of your field training. Why are you so surprised? He has taken a strong liking to you." Sara tried to comfort him. She knew most of the shift was hard on him but they were stopping that.
"Yeah, once I turned my music off." He said sarcasticly. Catherine smiled and poured herself some coffee. Her smile was short lived when she realized something.
"Does this mean the good coffee goes too?" Catherine whinned almost. Sara laughed.
"Now there is a sound we haven't heard much of." Greg commented.
