Heal My Pain
AN: I DO NOT OWN THESE PEOPLES! OR THE POWER RANGERS! Believe me, if I owned PR, Lost Galaxy would have never happened AND there were be more of a flow to the series...
THat being said. This will be more an angsty bit of a story.... But yea... PLease review,flame if you REALLY want to but know it won't do a damn thing but make me and my boyfriend laugh at you.... I'm hoping that later there will be some steamy scenes but um... don't hold your breath...

Danny Delgado woke to someone shaking his shoulder gently as they sniffled a bit. “What time is it?” he groaned as he tried to pull the cover over his head.
“Danny please wake up,” the voice sniffled with a hiccup. Danny shot up in bed to come face to face with his best friend Max Cooper.
“Max, what’s wrong?” he asked taking the young man’s shoulders in his hands and looking him over. “Maxie are you okay? Did you get hurt?” Danny searched his friend’s body for any trace of blood with a quick glance.
Max shook his head with an uneasy breathe. “Nothing like that… It’s just… That…” another sniffle and the quivering of the teen’s lower lip greeted his question.
Danny pulled the youth to him and hugged him tight while Max began to cry, and from the sound of it, this was the second time. “Maxie… let me turn on the light.”
“No!” Max said pulling away and wrapping his arms around his knees. “Please don’t… I don’t want you to see… Please…”
Danny sighed and pulled Max back to him and tilted his chin, seeing the slight gleam from his tears in the moonlight. “Who hurt you Max?”
“Promise you won’t be mad?” he asked his friend as he drew close to himself.
“If you let me patch you up…” Max hesitated at the request before nodding. Danny turned on his light and got his first aide kit before sitting down and taking in Max’s appearance. “Dear God, Max…” he breathed pulling out a washcloth and a bowl of water to clean up his face.
The youth let himself be tended to. Let his friend wash away the blood and tears and what was left of his little bit of make up. He also watched as Danny pulled out little bandages to cover up his wounds.
“Are you hurt anywhere else?” he asked gently. Max held out his hand and Danny bandaged the cuts and wrapped it. “I think it’s sprained, Max, be careful with it…”
“Danny… I got into a fight…” Max said leaning against his friend.
“I can see that Max… With who?”
“This guy…” he sniffled. “See… I like this person but they don’t know… So I decided to go to this place…. This club to try and get my mind off them…”
“Okay…” Danny said letting him take his time, starting to stroke Max’s hair gently, the brownish strands curling around his fingers.
“I ended up dancing with this… Guy,” Max said flinching and expecting Danny to shove him away and throw him out of his room and ultimately as far out of his life as he could but Danny only shushed him and asked him to go on. Max sighed and leaned into Danny’s embrace. “He was nice… Really nice… he was cute too… We talked a lot… Had a couple of drinks, nothing alcoholic though… Just like a smoothie and a soda… But we were talking and having fun… Laughing and giggling and flirting, just a tiny bit you know?”
“Yeah…. I know,” Danny said leaning his head into the unruly mop of Max’s hair, breathing in his scent.
“He didn’t tell me he had a boyfriend…” Max sighed. “So when he showed up and got angry with me I tried to be calm and every thing but he attacked me… And the guy just giggled and latched onto his boyfriend’s arm… Then I came home, cried a bit then came in here…” Max finished with another sniffle and small whimper.
“It’s all right Maxie…” Danny breathed as held the teen close.
Max’s eyes started to slip closed. Danny smelled like earth and green things. He smelled like growing plants. A smell that was very quickly lulling the boy to sleep, as well as his friend’s heartbeat. A few moments later, Danny was holding a very asleep Max in his arms. The elder pulled the blanket over the two of them and laid them down. Making sure, Max had a pillow and was comfortable, Danny fell asleep himself with his arms tightly around Max.
