Choices Consequences

A/N: I have not written on here in a long time so I hope you all like this story. I took down my other because I lost inte
rest in it. This is my first SGA. Let me know what you think of this.

Choices and Consequences

"My goodness it's so hot!" The voice of the teams new scientiest. She was nearly as smart as McKay, but not as cocky or sure of her self as he was. She polite, easy to get along with and funny. She was attractive, but not overly beautiful. The Fact that she was Elizabeth's sister kept the men at bay. That and Lt. Col. John Sheppard was like the over protective brother from hell. She went off world only with his team and never once was she left alone. If him or Teyla was not around her then someone he trusted with his very own life was there by her side. Today they were on a mission to collect specimens of plante life and if there was freshly killed mammals. That was what Alessandra Kirkansen did. While Rodney helped out with other things she collected different plant specimens and freshly dead animal DNA. She speacalised in DNA and plante growth. Her bright blue eyes looked down at a brightly pink half rose half carnation. Her raven hair was pulled up into a messy bun. Her soft feminine hands were now covered with dirt.
"Yes it is, but not as hot as the planet I was on before I came to Atlantis." Ronon Dex said as he stood by and watched for any warning signs. John left him with strict instructions of protecting Alessandra's life with his very own. It was good thing the two of them spent a lot of time together. He trusted her with his life which said alot considering what he had been through. Aside from Teyla she was the first woman in his life that he let get that close to him.
"You know Rodie would be complaining about how fair skinned he is and he'd burn, but I actually love the sun." she said as she cut the buds of the half rose half carnation." So do the planets aparently. Look at this mixed bred flower. It's so beautiful." she held the flower up to him with a huge smile on her face.
"Almost as beautiful as you." he said loving the way she looked while she worked. She was happy doing her job and it showed.
"Oh did John teach you that pick up line?" she teased as she placed the bud in a container and then picked a fully bloomed purplish blue one. She placed that one behind her ear.
"Don't need a pick up line to tell the truth." he stated as he moved his gaze back to looking out for things. Truth was she was beautiful to him. If it wasn't for the fact that him and John were becoming good friends he would've tried something a long tim ago.
Alessandra didn't say anything she just smiled and went back to working. As she silently dug into the dirt a beautifuly colored butterfly that was half dragon fly landed on her hand. Bright colors of purple and blue were reflected on it's wings. She studied the creature carefuly it didn't move at all. In fact it stared right into her eyes. It then did the oddest thing... it smiled at her. She gasped and fell onto her butt. The creature flew off of her and dissappeared.
"What's wrong?" Ronon asked as he came to her side immediately.
"The half butterfly half dragon fly it, it..." she stummbled over her words as she tried to comperhend what just happened. did it actually smile at me or have I been out in the sun too long? she wondered to herself as Ronon knelt down beside her.
"Did it bite you or something?" he asked curiously as he grabbed her hand to look at it. All he saw was dirt.
"No, no it um," she paused as she looked into his eyes." It smiled at me." her voice dropped to a whisper as she got lost inside Ronon's eyes. Wow, why haven't I noticed how goregous this man was before? her thoughts went immediatly to him as she brought her hand up to touch his face gently. He turned his cheek into her palm.
"Did it now." the corners of his lips lifted up into a smirk.
"Uh huh." she muttered softly caught up in the sensation his touch was creating and the moment that was now between them she barely remembered they were talking about the creature.
"I think you've been out here to long." he said, but didn't make a move to help her to her feet.
"So, do I" she mummbled as she let her hand fall from his face, but her caught it in his hand.
He used the hand he held to bring them closer to each other. He felt the shiver go through her and the pulse speed up just a tiny bit. His eyes bore down into hers. He leaned down to her intending on kissing her, but just as his lips got inches from hers she back away from him.
"Wait, wait." she said softly as she got to her feet.
"You scared?" he questioned as he got to his feet as well.
"Of you never." she thrusted out her chin with as much defiance as she could muster. Scared of course I am. Am I going to let him know? Hell no. She told her self softly.
"You're lying." he stated surely as he stepped closer to her. She took a step back and fell onto her backside as she tripped over a lifted root.
"You need to stay away from me." she warned as she struggled to get up.
Without saying a word Ronon grabbed her shoulders and brought her to her feet.
"Can't do that when we live together." he said as he stepped around her back to where he first was.
Niether one of them said a word as she finished gathering all the stuff she needed to gather including a dead half bred dragonfly.
"Okay, let's go." she said as she walked out a head of him.
Ronon smirked and follwed closely behind her.
"I don't mind this view it's nice." he commented
She let out a frustrated burst of air." Get." she demanded as she stopped and let him go ahead of her. She caught sight of his smirk as he walked by and paused near her left side." Go on Ronon Dex or I swear I'll knock you down and leave you wear you fall."
"Really." his brow lifted in a challenage as he cocked his head to the side.
"Ronon." she warned just seconds before he swiped his foot out and she just barely had time to jump over it without dropping her samples." Hey I have dilecate samples here don't make me drop them." she quickly sat them on the ground
"I thought you were going to knock me down on the ground I don't see you doing that." he taunted her as he prepared to defend his self
"Fine lets get this over with." she said tired of his smugness.
The sparred which ended with both of them falling down with Alessandra landing on top of Ronon straddleing his hips and pinning his hands to the ground.In the process of fighting with him her flower fell from her hair and landed on his chest.
"Well, it looks like you have me where you want me." he said as he locked grazes with her
"You let me knock you down." she said as she went to get to her feet, but a quick twist and Ronon had her pinned to the ground. Her flower was trapped between them and then crushed releasing this exotic scent all around them.
"No, I let you think you did." He said as he leaned down" Just because you knock your opponent. to the ground does not mean you've beat them." he then kissed her fully on the lips.
She protested, but it was useless since she wanted him to kiss her. She returned the kiss with all the passion she held inside her. It had been so long since she had someone kiss her like this and it felt so good. careful you don't get to caught up in this kiss. Her rational side warned her. It's just one kiss. she told her self. Just one great hot steamy kiss. She let a soft mew come from her throat as she struggled to get closer to him. Her hands were in his hair as his rested on her hips pulling her harder against him. It felt more than nice to be this clsoe to a guy. All of a sudden Ronon stood up pulling her to her feet in one smooth swift moition. She didn't understand what was going on until she heard foot steps coming toward them.
"Hey, it's time to go back." John's voice called out to them as he walked up to them his eyes flicker from Ronon's face to Alessandra's flushed face then back to Ronon's." I don't want to know."
Ronon didn't say a word he just followed behind John. Alessandra kept quite the whole way back to the jumper. Her heart still pounded in her chest as she tried to catch her breath. She sat next to Ronon on the way back to Atlantis. Her eyes remained on Rodney's forehead the whole time as she tried to make her self concentrate on anything, but Ronon Dex. How could one man turn her normally routine life upside down with one kiss? she wondered to her self.
