A note casually landed on his desk as Peyton walked back to her desk from the front of the class. He looked at her and saw her mouth “open it.” He somewhat secretly unfolded the note not wanting the teacher to notice just in case it was another dirty note.
Peyton had been giving him dirty notes ever since he came out to her. They had always been more like brother and sister even when they had their fling; they both knew it didn’t mean anything. So since then she loved sending dirty notes getting her naughty side out with the person who wouldn’t care either way.
As he read the note he was relieved that it wasn’t dirty and very happy about what it did say. The teacher walked by just as the reality of the note began to set in.
“Mr. Scott, I sure would love to know what has you so distracted from my lecture about the importance and pleasures of lingus venues.” Mrs. Cummings asked strictly. Before seeing the note he was trying to hide. “Ahh, I see I thought text messaging was the new way to past notes but it seems you are one who likes the classics.”
“That is why I love you so much Mrs. Cummi…”
“What was that Mr. Scott?”
“Nothin.”
“Well I was just gonna have you throw it away but now I think I will have you read it to the class.”
“Fine. It say that Jake is gonna be coming back to town.”
“Really Mr. Jagielski well isn’t that nice. Now then is it alright with the class if I get back to my lecture. Ok then and by the way Mr. Scott if I catch you passing notes again or any other thing that will disrupt my class you will be doing a presentation about the importance and pleasure of lingus in front of the class.”
“OK”
