MAKO addiction
Author Note: Okay Mako Addiction is a VERY long and VERY exstensive fic spanning many many pages. It is still going. The first problem was where to post it... Star Gate fiction or Final Fantasy. Chose Star Gate mainly because it is centered mainly around the SGC. This fic was started between two people and shall be posted in sections. Some of which are short (a page) while others are VERY long. Thus there will be variations in length chapter to chapter. And although things kind of arnt explained to start of with, they will be through the fic, I promise.
WARNING: This is a VERY yaoifull fic. It gets A LOT worse as it goes along, and I mean A LOT worse. To start off with it's rather tame and not that bad, but as it gets along there are ever increasing amounts of Yaoi scenes.
Disclaimer: Mark, Ngozi, Glen and Aleros are original characters please dont use them. The rest are used here without there owners knowledge so please dont sue.

Janet looked at the sweating man lying desperately on the bed. She couldn’t understand what was happening. He was showing all the symptoms of withdrawal from a drug. Suddenly, his eyes snapped open, the odd green glow in them making her frown.
"Mako..." he whispered to himself before turning his head to look at the doctor.
"What is Mako?" she asked cautiously watching the white haired mans face intently.
"Don't toy with me, doll, you know damn well what Mako is. Get me some. NOW!" he screamed at her, the green in his eyes flaring for a moment before he collapsed back on the bed, sweating and breathing heavily.
"Is it a drug?" she asked, praying for the answer, needing to stop the pain that seemed to rake his body.
"It is not a drug, you fool. It’s a way of life..."
Janet sighed walking from the room.
Sephiroth had just made the confession of a true junky. The drug was never anything but a way of life and that way of life had a habit of dieing hard. As the door closed behind her, she heard him scream again, crying out for something they didn’t have.
"How is he?" asked Daniel with a concerned look on his face. Janet looked at him and sighed.
"Addicted, and I'm not sure there is a cure for what he's addicted to." Daniel frowned as another cry tore through the infirmary.
"There has to be something we can do, we can’t just leave him like that. Sedatives maybe..." Janet cut him off with a wave.
"I've already tried everything. His body won’t respond to it. I've even tried to distract his mind from it but I don’t know what else to do." for the first time in months, Janet felt and looked worn out. Daniel frowned, thinking hard, hoping he would some how find an answer.
"Distract him?" he asked, looking at Doctor Frasier. She nodded.
"If we could get his mind off the withdrawal he would likely not feel the pain of it."
As soon as she finished the sentence, Daniel slipped into the room, telling Janet to give him a few hours to try something. Within minutes, the painful, agonising cries stoped. Frowning, she stepped towards the door, trying to hear what was going on. How had Daniel managed it?
Blushing furiously, she jumped away from the door as the cries of agony were replaced by cries of a different kind. As she rushed down the hall she almost bumped into Jack O'Neil who was also rushing somewhere.
"Whoa, Janet. Have you seen Daniel?" he asked looking at her. She froze for a moment before smiling and telling the first lie that came to mind.
"No I haven’t. I think he went to the surface for some coffee."
"Damn," Jack cursed, spinning on his heels to head the other way "I know where he’ll be going. I'll try to head him off. Thanks Janet." With that, he was gone.
Glancing behind her in the direction of the infirmary, she smiled to herself before quickly walking off.
