Disclaimer:
I do not own Days of Our Lives, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
My Daddy
Ken Corday, Sony, NBC, JK Rowling an tons of other people own all this stuff. I'm just writing in their world, because I'm a fan. I make no money off of this, nor would I never want any for doing this in anyway. This is Cassie's pov on Tony, a long with her feelings about him, Stefano, Marlena an her life.
He's Still My Daddy.
Cassie Brady, sat alone in her grampa Shawn's home. She had just woken up after a brief nap, to find a note telling her that her grampa had left to go over an see her father. He was staying with Kate until his house could be gotten back. Things were a little bit of a mess with that. But John was helping out so it wouldn't be too much longer until things were set right.
Time passes by so quickly
But I guess I thought you'd be here forever
I never even had the chance
To say goodbye
Cassie shoke her head, she still had a hard time thinking of Roman Brady as her father. Let alone her daddy, it wasn't something that felt at all right to call him. As much as Cassie had become fond of her grampa Shawn, over the last few weeks. She was still a bit gun shy around Roman, and the rest of the Bradys. She didn't know how to act around him, or Kate.
There's so many things to tell you
Left unsaid until now
She had not meet the two of them on the best of treams. Roman had busted her for prostituion of all things, an Kate.. Well the woman who was suppossed to be her mother. Wasn't someone Cassie wanted to get close to even before she had learned Kate was her mother. The woman she wanted as her mother was Marlena Evans/Black.
Can you hear me when I talk to you
Do the words I say ever make it through
Can you hear me when I talk to you
The woman who had been there for her an Rex, when they had needed her to be. Cassie had mixed emotions about Marelena but she still liked her better than Kate. Cassie shoke her head, grampa Shawn was far better than the man she had thought was her grandfather.
Stefano DiMera was a insane loonitic who Cassie was more than happy to wish death upon. Death an any number of horrific tramas, things like stuffing the old bastard into a box of hungry Blast-Ended Squwites. Or giving him a thousand paper cuts an droping him in an out of lemon an lime juice tanks. Then stuffing him into the box with the hungry Blast-Ended Squwites. Cassie couldn't wish enough horror upon the evil old bastard.
'Cause I'd give anything if I just knew
Every night I have the same dream
The one where you get to hold me
We laugh and talk until the morning
And then you vanish
She stretched out on the bed an sighed, things were as always never cut an dry. Not having Stefano as her grandfather, meant something Cassie couldn't bare. That meant Tony wasn't her daddy. Tony who had been the only person in the whole freaking town. To treat her an Rex as if they were normal people form the moment he'd learned about them.
It always leaves me feeling helpless
When I wake up and you're not there
The only person to treat her an Rex, consitanly with love, attention an care. Tony who had opened up his home, heart an soul to the two lost lonly twins. Cassie didn't know how Tony could be that man. Yet somehow have become the same man; who set up the Salem Stalker the Island an that damned casttle. How could Tony be both of the men she had come to know? How could he be such a wonderful daddy, then turn into such a hateful monster?
Can you hear me when I talk to you
Do you know how much I'd love to be with you
Can you hear me when I talk to you
'Cause I'd give anything if I just knew
Cassie blinked back tears, Tony had been so good for her an Rex. After years on being treated like lab rats, by all of those sick people in white. All of those damn doctors, nurses, all of the poking, prodding, the freaking tests. The damn powder white floors an walls, all of that damn compound or what ever the hell it was.
Living in this world without you
I constantly search through my memories
Hoping that I find some treasures
That I passed over
All that I took for granted
Means so much now and I won't let it go
Cassie remebered bits an pieces of it sometimes, an when she did. She very offent became quite, and unable to funtion. She still remembered the first night she had spent in the mansion. Cassie remembered having a very painful memory that had become the mother of all nightmares. She remembered screaming, an tears, she remembered begging, an pleading. Cassie also remembered the man who had come running into her room. Scared as hell, an looking pale as death it's self an the look of self hate an guilt that had been on his face.
Can you hear me when I talk to you
'Cause I never said some things that I meant to
Can you hear me when I talk to you
'Cause I'd give anything if I just knew
Tony had stayed with her the whole night, holding her. Reasuring her, that nothing would every hurt her again. He wouldn't allow anything or anyone to every hurt her again. Because he was her daddy, an it was his job to protect an love her. Cassie remembered being driven home, after a very bad day. She remembered a promise made to her, a promise about being loved. Cared for an now an forever being taken care of, because she was his little girl.
You know I never said some things that I meant to
Can you hear me when I talk to you
'Cause I'd give anything if I just knew
Cassie felt the tears start to fall, she didn't wipe them away. She could let her tears out, she was safe in her grampa Shawn's home. Not in that place, no Cassie was safe she was in a warm safe home. Somehow Cassie didn't feel warm or safe, not the same way she had felt that night her daddy had held her. Tony was still her daddy, Cassie felt more tears fall. All she wanted was her daddy, an her daddy was the one thing she couldn't have.
I miss you Daddy
