Wow. Foyle's War fans are of course waiting eagerly for the new series to arrive, but those of us who ship Sam into place beside dear Mr Foyle just don't know what to do about that pesky Adam. You've done it for us--dispatched him and got Sam off to a magical start with the right man. One has the feeling that Sam won't have to wait very long to find out that SHE was not the reason for her childless state, but given the general dreaminess of her new lover, she may not mind continuing to experiment.
As usual, you write the two in such a lovely, in-character way that it's utterly convincing, touching, and so romantically erotic. And it's such fun that she took, uh, matters into her own hand and seduced the man in his own bed!
