Oh, and I use 'gods' in my stories for the same reason. No one's ever complained, though.

Big slips ruin stories for me, unfortunately. You can be very good, but take care not to allow your own biases to interfere with character. I let to the rather obvious and undercooked concept of Sherlock as Dom (Trite. Obvious. Oversimplified, given the intricacies of his unique psyche...). Unfortunately, your penchant for subverting the common (and unchristian, though many pagans don't follow the religious overtones of expletive grammar) use of "god" as a verbal ejaculation into "gods" is utterly telling. Shades of narcissus, yes. John has become the Mary Sue.
Shame, really. You have talent, and a decent grip on the craft of writing. Avoid ego pitfalls!

Please don't abandon this story. I have followed you through all 11 chapters, in one sitting no less (which is why it's 5:30sm right now and i haven't been to sleep yet) but it's totally been worth it, just as long as the journey reaches its destination! I love your style and fluidity, as well as your personal mission to educate those poor, ignorant prostateers. Please tell me the next chapters are right around the corner? i'll so totally be your bff!!

I did not like this chapter at all, compared to the others. It seems like you wrote it in a hurry, and I just don't think it flows at all from the last one. Sloppy, hurried writing. I'd revise and re-write. We all like our updates, me included, but I'd much rsther wait a month and read a great chapter vs. waiting a weekend and then reading a mediocre one. There's definately talent in you. Use it.
I will be back when you update again, don't disapoint me.

Do not worry about the lateness, dear (can I call you dear?), real life always takes priority.
So happy to see this fic again, though!!! Nomination to both Holmes brothers for a Lead actors Oscar (Sherlock because of canon, too). I'm desperately worried that John will have no answer to that question, though. He could agree to the threat (not sure I'm explaining myself...like the corpse prospect, I mean). Wonder how Mycroft would get out of that. And how Sherlock will manage if he ever has to confess.
