Hotter than the devil, and then some. What happened the rest of the afternoon?

Hi Hazeleyes, how wonderful to have found this extra morsel to enjoy. Thankyou. I really love this story, it has grown on me, you have created a believeable and very enjoyable modern character in Lily. Have to say I was a bit troubled by this bit in the original story. Sam sees CF and Lily together and turns on her heels. I was thinking that Foyle would go after Sam immediately, and felt quite shocked he did not but seemed pretty nonchalant about it. Lily has to go after her. Does Foyle prefer Lily then? He said he would have courted her properly had they the time, implying a serious intention to marry her. So he would have put Sam aside in favour of Lily? I originally thought Foyle was just making it known he really liked her a lot but wouldn't let it go any further because Sam was his woman.
Having said that am looking forward to the rest of the story. And who is Mike really?? More please soon.
