I like the way you have captured the essence of dexter's character. He is very believable in this. The social awkwardness, the emotional distance and yet not so distant, the mental dialogue; you have done a really excellent job. I also like that you aren't turning this into some sexual romp like happens to so many other fanfics. And if it does eventually lead to a relationship, I have absolute faith that you will make it happen naturally and it will flow with the story.

Honestly, I think the current chapter has really been the best of them.
As if you've found just the right formulations now. I hope you'll keep writing; it helps get my own creative juices flowing.
