I'm pretty sure I already reviewed this on fanfiction.net, but I thought I'd leave a review here and say how wonderful I thought this was.
I found Mal to be particularily in character, as was Simon, for the most part. (Tamcest alone makes us have to play with unspecified parts of his character... Things unstated, but somehow understood.)
River here is wonderful, not too insane, but still not quite 'right', and I love that for ONCE we didn't see River coming on to Simon and him simply giving in... It was nice to see his obvious obsession with his sister played off of and turned into sexual attraction - as canon makes it so easy to believe it could be.
