I've just read this while listening to the Foyle's War soundtrack albumn - a rather delicious combination.

I really liked this story also.
I loved the way you went from his thoughts to what was actually happening and then to her thoughts.
Brilliantly written once again and thank you for sharing!

That was an absolutely blinding story. The characterisations and the speech were absolutely perfect, it was one of the best pieces of fanfic I've ever read anywhere, and from any genre. Seriously, it was brilliant. Please write more Foyle/Sam if the muse strikes you - I for one would love to read them :)

first you have no idea how exited i was to find foyle's war (well ok one) fic on here.

and this is a vary good one to. you really have the chacters down, and that's coming from somebody that has never seen the foyle/sam that so many people seam to.

Great stuff! Caught the main characters' speech and mannerisms very well, could hear the actors speaking the lines. Having all the smutty stuff happen just in their imaginations worked really well, as it made it quite believable - actually getting "down and dirty" in such circumstances would just not have seemed right for their personalities and morals. Keep it up!!! :-)
