Hey :) I have to admit I am very surprised that you put up your alternate ending. But I am glad that you shared your endings with me, I do agree with you that I think I like your first ending better. But this one has more hope. That the time lords could adapt and come back. Though to do it you take the dr to a very dark place. I liked your twist on giving the master his sanity, and a chance at the happiness that the council stole from him when they made him their tool.

The ending is a little abrupt, otherwise the story is good.

when are you going to add more? I keep waiting for more... *pout*

Oh my god I take my hat off to you and dance around in little circles!!....Sorry I haven't read you story yet but I just had to reply when I read your pre-introduction. I was so scared when I clicked on this link, I was scared because I thought it was going to be another Ten/Rose story when Martha has been the doctors companion for a whole series now. I have never seen series 1 and 2 and I never plan to. I have never seen one episode with Rose and I hope I never have to. I am already sick of her!! I was so angry when they kept on harping on about Rose through out series 3. It was so unfair to Martha and this is the kind of thing that stops a character from fully developing. I am glad that Martha has taken a break and will be returning later in series 4. I think the directors of the show themselves realized they did this wonderful character a disservice, so I think they gave her some time off, become a fully licensed MD, work for Torchwood and come back to Dr. Who a more confident and self assured as ever. I think she lived in Rose's shadow a bit, which is to be expected through out the 3rd series but she did come into her own later on! I have adored her from the moment I started watching this series which was only a couple of weeks ago. I think Martha in series 4 will be a lot different from the one before so she is a new person for the doctor to discover, I think he will then start to see her the way she has always wanted him to......sorry I will now go and read your story, I just needed to get that off my chest

You're right, Rose was definitely NOT all that. She kind of sucked, IMO. Martha is much cooler and I like that she is in this story. I enjoy reading it.

I hate to tell you this, but actually Martha would least fertile during her period. Her most fertile point is midway between periods. And if you want me to put credit in the fact that you don't think all that much of Rose you probably shouldn't put so much effort into talking about her. If she's not important - why mention her at all? People will think you are 'protesting too much'.

I haven't seen season 3 yet but I am definately interested in your story so far! Please continue!

hey, i'm liking the story. Is tbere going to be more. I wish you would make your chapters longer, I feel like I'm getting cut off too soon. there were couple of places where the word choices were wrong but it didn't seriouslly detract from the story. So overall, good show. update soon!
