I started to read this story out of sheer boredom as I don't normally read Xena stuff, let alone alternate universe stuff but whatever led me to it, I am so glad I did start reading it. I have just finished the first chapter and can't wait to read the rest, this is extremely well written. I just laughed when the male at the beginning turned out to be the dog and not Jessie's lover! you have made us care about the character and the whole thing is very professional and very compelling. Thank you for sharing this story.

Just finished re-reading chapter 2. I noticed the story had been updated and forced myself to wait until I had time to re-read. Great idea, love the twisted universe - I haven't seen as many of these and this is the best written. The plot and character development flow almost as well as the conversation.
And I agree about the hair! Of course brunette is not always better - think Chronicle of Riddick - that was just weird, although I still liked it better than his Lord of the Rings look.

ch 12. Oh My. Plot, characterization, and great sex too! There was a note where you referred to yourself as a first time author. Does that mean this is the first you have written or the first you have shared?

You know you are a lot like 'Schoolhouse Rock' entertaining and eductional....that's damn sneaky. I love the historical notes you occasionally have in the beginning of your chapters. And of course UPDATE SOON!!

hi, just wanted to say how much i enjoy reading this fic, especially since your using the sovereignverse characters instead of the usual xena/herc ones. i can't wait until strife and jessie meet up and am definitely looking forward to when you hook cupid/jessie/strife up! please post more soon as reading the latest of your fic just makes my day ^__^
