Oh wow - I guess that's the exact scene we've all been waitng for to happen fro the very beginnn of the series on. Thanks so much for finally making it happen. I think you managed to stay true to the characters really well and that's not an easy thing to do.

this was really lovely, wonderful characterizations of both Mal & Inara, i especially loved the ending, Mal's reaction to Inara's confessdion was dead on. nice job.

Ah, Guinevere! This was lovely! You captured Mal perfectly. I loved the line about the pain being a close second to being tortured by Niska. And the blow at the end, when Inara thinks he's asleep was the perfect topper. Well done.
