Once again I say, this is a wonderful story. You have captured the emotions well. This is near the emotional point that Jack was in when he was last suicidal and you have shown that as well. I am not sure that even Sam would be enough to pull him back from the abyss if Jesse were to die. My personal vote would be for Sam and Jack to never set foot on earth outside of the SGC again. They should take up residence on a different planet and raise their family. Sometimes a world and a galaxy can ask too much of a person and Simmons and Pete have made it too much. Of course, if you were to do that there would not be much plot left. Well, I for one do not want Jesse to be harmed any more. One more incident and an in character Jack would do anything to protect his daughter...anything. Be it killing or disappearing forever.

Thank you for writing.

Great story. I find it funny that it is on this site, but whatever site does it justice and offers a home. This is a very good story. I am sure that you will not rip our hearts out and have this be anything but a happy ending. A this point, I think that the alpha site as a permanent residence or maybe permanent ambasadors to the Asgard. Sam would love all of the new technology that she could get her hands on. Maybe she could teach herself, especially as the Asgard have not had any children in a thousand years.

You are doing very well with this story. Thank you for writing.

That is a wonderful story. Certainly above the normal quality of stories out there. I hope that this will continue, as I look forward to reading more.

I would imagine that Jack could give the General the option of his retirement or exemption from the rules, siting the girl's need for parents, however, I can easily imagine neither Sam nor Jack wanting to risk their lives going through the gate due to their new addition.

I just know that it will tear my heart out when they attempt to adopt her and Simmons or other groups try to stop it. I hope that the President will step up to the plate and see that things go the right way. For some things, General Hammond is not powerful enough.

Thank you for writing.
