Not perfect, but 95% of the way there, and, mmm, yes, definitely the damn-finest fanfic I've ever read. You've captured the characters and voices better than any other Jaylee story I've come across. There are occasional moments where it stumbles in plausibility (Jayne refusing to kiss her struck me as seeming out of character for this interpretation of him), and it was intensely annoying to have the two parts filed as separate stories instead of linked together as seamless chapters, but honestly, a lot would've had to go wrong with this story to dampen my enjoyment of it. Thank you, thank you for sharing-- and please, please, keep writing. If you ever have any WIPs you want to send along for proofing or critiques, feel free to let me know! I would take pleasure in reading (and red-penning) your work any day.

This is the first Firefly fan fic I have read, an' I tell ya, it was gorram fantastic! I sure as hell hope you decide to write more, because you, my friend, kick much ass. Thanks for a great story!

you have a lovely way with language that makes every paragraph loaded with texture and depth, even if its a minor point in the story there's so much there which makes the payoff all the stronger. I love your work, please more please?
