And yet another piece of good writing. Even though I think reading three Gilmore Girls incest pieces is enough for one evening... :-)

Hmm, I never knew that literotica.com has a rule that all characters have to be 18+ y-o. I guess that pretty much rules out most of the Harry Potter fic for them. And I guess that also means that I won’t be posting my stories there.

I have noticed lately that censorship seems to be increasing on TV and the Internet (more consequences of Janet Jackson flashing her bare breast perhaps? At least I think it started around that time.). So I’m glad for relatively safe havens like ASSTR and AdultFanFiction.Net.

Screw those right-wing born-again religious fanatics who think they have the right to tell other people how to live/write/act.

I didn't mention this in my previous review, but you have balls for writing Rory as 16 in this story. You know, I think people have become so obsessed with protecting children from exploitation that they've taken certain things a bit too far. Look at literotica.com. A fine site for great erotica, but with one rule that bugs the hell out of me: all your characters have to be 18 years old or more. Nevermind if the story demands that a character be 16 or 17, or if you want to set it during a time where they just happen to be that age. If you have characters even a day under 18, you can't submit your stories. You have to either alter your story, even if it throws events out of whack, or else leave the ages deliberately vague (like saying someone's a "senior in high school"), and leaving it at that.

Here's an example. In the video game section of this site, some author wrote a Silent Hill story that takes place before SH3. It's the last chapter of a fic called "Memorobillia", and features two characters from the games, Harry and his adopted daughter Heather. It's become somewhat of a favorite, because IMO, it shows both how to write and how not to write good erotica. At any rate, Heather is 17, because the author's not looking to re-write the game or anything grand. He's just writing an interesting little interlude. He makes it clear everything's consensual, and knowing Heather's personality, I'd tend to agree with him (Heather would probably kill anyone who touched her without her permission, literally). It fits quite nicely into the SH timeline, since it doesn't change anything. And yet because Heather's 17, Literotica wouldn't allow the story to be posted if the writer wanted to. He'd have to change her age, which would defeat the whole purpose of setting it before SH3. See what I mean?

I face the same problem. I'm writing some stories with an alternate universe version of another character from SH (Alessa Gillespie), and for the purposes of the story, she has to be 16, 17, and 19 when certain events happen; one for each story. But thanks to the meddlesome rule, I'd only be able to post one of those stories at that site. Not that I necessarily want to, but it's the principal of the thing that bothers me.

Yes, there's a limit to what ages are acceptable. We all agree on that, and I think it's pretty clear around here. But when you get to characters who are 16 or 17, why should we have to adhere to the over 18 rule? This is all fantasy that harms no one. Furthermore, the legal age in a lot of European countries is 16 and up. Why should make writers and characters from over there adhere to out American standards. We can't claim higher morality, since we're actually far worse off than some of their countries when it comes to sexual matters, particularly education and teen pregnancy.

People also forget that not all teenagers are shockingly ignorant about their bodies. Some are actually quite knowledgable about what it takes to have relatively safe sex. It depends on individual circumstances and how much education they've received. And if you have friends or boyfriends/girlfriends who are really close to you, your late teen years can be a good chance to explore relationships and sex without the "real world" pressures of having a career, abudant confidence, or tons of money to spend on dates. Or worse, the fear of not being able to please a sexual partner (I've lost count of the sites from both men and women saying, "Don't do this" or "try that", or "never touch her this way", without telling you to just relax and trust your partner). Take it from a guy who didn't have close friends in high school (not too long ago) and still wishes he'd have tried a relationship. It only gets tougher from there and there's no magic pool of wisdom that gets transported into your brain the minute you turn 18, despite what the law wants us to believe.

Sorry if this rant turned out a bit too long. And sorry for all the parentheses. I realize most authors don't care much about issues like this, and rightfully so. We should just be able to write decent stories and post them anywhere they want. But it doesn't work that way, and I have to give you credit for taking a risk. Of course, don't mistake me for being a crusader or anything; I just come here to read smut and erotica like the rest of us. ;)

Very, very, very hot. Please continue! And like another reviewer pointed out, something about mother/daughter just makes it more exciting then regular femslash. And it doesn't hurt that both the players are absolutely gorgeous.
