i am going to take a wild guess here .there seems to be a trend through all your writings that the good captain's recruitment speech would not work on you two :) but then i would rather "serve" "under" Tyr any day---or night :)

I'm glad that you liked the story. It was fun to write. Dylan strikes us as a secretive man and one day we got to pondeing what secret he might have. Since what little of the Commonwealth we've seen in the series seems rather sober and staid, we thought this could be the kind of secret that Dylan might be used to hiding for the sake of keeping his job. The hair dye thing just came to me while I was writing about Dylan staring at himself in the mirror....the virtures of dye are the sort thing that one considers as one gets older.
