Pretty enjoyable.
I've always enjoyed Ares/Xena (they play off each other well), and this was written well. I'd have taken this as an ending to the series.
Hoping for an update ... part 2 maybe?

I'm just a casual fan of Xena but I always did wish that Xena and Ares would get together. You've done a marvelous job getting the characters moving towards each other. The sex scenes were hot yet sweet and touching. I also enjoy the internal eth and and moral arguements Xena has with herself over joining with Ares. You've depicted Ares as a very complex character who doesn't exactly apologize for what he is but is finally understanding the consequences of war and now has some compassion. Great stuff and all very well written! I really look forward to the continuation of this fic. Thanks for making my first Xena fic an enjoyabne :ne :)
