OMG, this is absolute torture! How /dare/ you write a story so well-soaked in goodness and then leave us out to dry /before/ they even kissed? It's absurd! Cruel and unusual punishment! What'd I ever do to you?! You had all this wonderful angst going on...melodramatic, partnering bonds, not to mention to die for authoring in your words, sentences, and feel-good feelings! And then you just back off and /stop/ before the real thing?!!! Just be careful, what goes around comes around you know! Someday you'll end up reading a juicy story like this... though I seriously doubt there could ever be an equal... and then it'll just unsatisfyingly end too! No, I don't wish it on you, I'm just trying to help you understand the obvious withdrawal pain all your fans are going through at the loss of such a slashy Fin/John momento! Think about it...

Shame that the muse(s) are giving you trouble. I like the way that this one is turning out. Don't worry about cranking it out; sometimes you just need to take a small break from a story to be able to get back on track. Take your time and don't try to rush it.
